Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process when you use the Timelyshot application (the "App"), for what purpose, and what your rights are. We process your data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we process

• Account data. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address (and, where applicable, your Google profile name). We use the email solely to identify your session and your account within the App.
• App usage data. The alignments you create (geographic coordinates you select on the map, the name you give them and the calculation dates) are saved and linked to your account so that you can consult them later.
• Location. If you authorise it, we use your device's location to place your position on the map and to orient the calculations. The coordinates used in a calculation are sent to our server for processing.
• Camera and motion sensors. These are used exclusively on your device for the augmented reality view (overlaying the path of the Sun or the Moon). Camera images are neither stored nor sent to any server.
• Calendar. If you authorise it, we may add events (alignment reminders) to your calendar. We do not read the content of your calendar.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Provision of the service (performance of the contractual relationship): to authenticate you, carry out the calculations, and save and display your alignments.
• Consent: access to location, camera, calendar and motion sensors is based on the permission you grant in the operating system, and you may revoke it at any time from your device settings.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. We only rely on providers that act as data processors, strictly so that the App can function:

• Google (sign-in and authentication).
• Cloud hosting provider, where the calculations linked to your account are processed and stored.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in such a case, the safeguards provided for in the GDPR apply (such as standard contractual clauses).

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as you maintain an active account. When you delete your account, we erase the associated personal data, except for any data we are required to retain by legal obligation.

6. How to delete your account and your data

You can delete your account and the associated data at any time:

• From within the App itself, in your profile, using the delete account option.
• Or by writing to us at manuel.losro@gmail.com.

7. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, as well as withdraw any consent given, by writing to manuel.losro@gmail.com. If you consider that we have not properly handled your request, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos) (www.aepd.es).

8. Security

Communications between the App and our servers are carried out over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

9. Minors

The App is not directed at children under 14 years of age. If you are below that age, you must not use it or provide personal data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will publish the current version at this same address, indicating the date of the last update.
